Kyra Minton was born in the city of New York and is an American actress. The actress is a household name throughout the world especially in America. Sedgwick has been attracted to acting, art and Broadway from the age of twelve. Her mother had a great passion for the Broadway and brought her into it. Sedgwick's debut acting gig was with a TV series called 'Another World. It was when she was just sixteen years old. Though she initially began with small-time roles for television however, it was the notion of becoming an actress who caught her attention. The TV film called 'Lemon sky and met her husband and actor Kevin Bacon and got married to him when she was just 22. Sedgwick has made a mark on American television with her effortless performance. The Closer ran for 7 seasons and won her numerous awards, like the Golden Globe.
